How a singer-songwriter freed his music from Spotify
Mateólika started in the streets and popular festivals of Barcelona and has taken his records to venues and festivals in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Mexico since 2014. This case shows how his platform organises concerts and videos on their own pages, with a built-in music player that doesn't depend on Spotify.

Mateólika began his career in the streets, at popular festivals and in the alternative scene of Barcelona and surrounding towns and cities. Over the years the scope widened: political and cultural events, venues and festivals of European and international renown started to feature him.
From 2014 well into 2025, he has toured and presented his records in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Mexico — from the Aste Nagusia in Bilbao to the Rhein in Flammen in Koblenz, from the Festa Alternativa in Perpignan to the Tlaxcala arts and culture festival. He had no website of his own: he depended on social media. He needed a platform that organised concerts and videos in one place and played his music without depending on third parties.
